The word ‘diversity’ gets used a lot but it refers to more than just culture, race or gender. Diversity is about the range of differences that we all bring to the workplace, such as our socio-economic background, education level, sexual orientation, disposition and many others. Our combined differences make us unique and allow us to bring a unique strength to our organization. Take a moment and write down all of your identities; this is a great way to become aware of how each of our differences combine to make us who we are.
