When life is stressful, laughter can provide the release that we need to help combat stress and help us take a few moments to relax with our family and friends. Along with helping to lighten your mental load, having a good laugh helps stimulate your heart, lungs, muscles and increases endorphins into your brain. It also helps decrease your heart rate and blood pressure as well as stimulating your circulation and aids muscle relaxation, helping reduce the physical symptoms of stress. Take time out to think about when you last laughed, and what you find funny. Then find ways to bring more of that into your day.
