Understanding difference starts with getting to know the people you work with, in particular those that may not look, think, act or speak like you, or share your background. How are you taking time to educate yourself about the different identities people have when it comes to gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, physical or mental abilities and cultural differences (to name a few?)
