“There is no simple answer to systemic racism, but there are some things we can do to become more aware of what we can do to close the gap. We can buy differently from people and have some preference programs and things of that nature. We have to stop doing additional damage. It’s the systems, we’ve got to look at the core systems of our nation, how they operate, who they operate to benefit and who they operate to exploit. And we’ve got to start working on those systems.”
