“Sexual assault and domestic violence and sexual harassment are understood as women’s issues that some good men help out with. Try to shift the paradigm because we shouldn’t accept the premise that these are women’s issues that good men help out with. These are really men’s issues and men are committing the overwhelming majority of the harassment, abuse and violence. Until we shine the critical spotlight on men and male culture and not individual men necessarily, but the culture that produces abusive men, then we’re only going to be cleaning up after the fact.”
