“Companies should first take a hard look in the mirror and be willing to disrupt themselves, to set the tone at the top. Ask yourselves hard questions as leaders like, ‘Do you look at the content and the delivery of training programs to make it easier for all people to learn, according to their working and their lifestyle needs? Are companies investing in technology to support work-life balance and encourage greater participation by those with significant non-work commitments?’ If companies start asking those questions and are really willing to disrupt their status quo, they will start to see things happen pretty quickly.”
