“Take care of your people and they will take care of the business. If you intentionally invest in your people, take care of them, make sure that they know that you are genuinely invested in their overall wellbeing and not just what they can produce for the bottom line, they’re going to work harder for you and they’re going to be loyal. Also cultivating a community with people who understand you, with people who empathise with you, with people who are going to listen to you and show up for you is so crucial. That’s something you can do personally, really cultivating your relationships, leaning into those safe places.”
