“Be the first person to reach out. Be the first person to make that effort, it goes a long way. We play so easily as children. As adults, we think that friendship has to be so much more serious, but do a new activity, try something new, be curious, do something that’s active. That is going to inject a lot more energy, creativity, curiosity into the friendship. Make it a habit, whatever it is. If it’s going to get sushi, make it something that you always do. Those types of things really help.”
